Why does the piston rod change color?

There are three main reasons for the discoloration of the piston rod of the oil cylinder:
1. There is a high temperature in the hydraulic system, so the piston rod is always working at a high temperature. If the temperature is relatively low in winter, if there is frequent contact with the low temperature environment, the temperature will definitely appear. Momentary dips.
2. During the maintenance cycle of the piston rod, replace different brands of hydraulic oil. This situation basically occurs within a few days after the oil product is replaced. The main reason for the discoloration of the piston rod is that the hydraulic oil contains extreme pressure and Anti-wear additives, and performance and quality are not the same.
3. When the piston rod is electroplated, the temperature control is uneven, which leads to serious cracks on the surface when the piston rod is electroplated later, but the piston rod needs to be observed under a magnifying glass with a relatively high multiple , there will be many irregular small cracks on the surface.
Under normal circumstances, it is caused by the high temperature of the hydraulic oil, so the heat dissipation part of the cylinder should be cleaned frequently to ensure its heat dissipation effect.
